Boxes: They Come in Various Shapes Besides Boxes

When it comes to the different sorts of cardboard boxes out there, it often seems like your standard brown rectangular box is all there is to choose from, just in different sizes to accommodate whatever items you’ll be shipping. For the most part, you really could fit anything you wanted in this style of box so long as the box got bigger and bigger to make room for longer, wider, or rounder items.

But did you know that a bevy of options exist for shippingboxes? You probably wouldn’t have guessed that there was anything outside of the traditional rectangular corrugated cardboard, but there sure are.

Cardboard mailers
For anything small enough to avoid shipping in a big, ugly, lumpy box, mailers are your best friend. I mean, think about it: Why try to ship a small item in a bigger box if better options exist that protect your item even more? It seems silly to forego a better option entirely unless you’re just being downright lazy.

Mailers are great for books, CDs, video games, small handheld devices like phones and mobile gaming systems, and even an assortment of household items that would rattle around too much in a bigger box.

Picture boxes
Not always do these long, thing shipping boxes house picture frames and the likes. Oftentimes you can mail other specifically shaped thin items within them, like paintings, tapestries, quilts, and even comforter sets. While picture frames fit best in them, those other items benefit form solid protection against damage simply because a more snug fit can actually protect your products better than too much room to bounce around in.

Dish boxes
This is one of the most genius types of cardboard out there simply because it offers unparalleled protection when a large assortment of smaller, more brittle items needed shipped together. These boxes have separators within them that create mini compartments for different items (typically dishes). But even if you want to use them for things outside of your mug collection, they offer great protection and organization in comparison to a plain old box.

Tubes
You may not see these nearly as much anymore as you used to, but they’re perfect for sending long, thin items like curtain rods, canes, rolled up posters or tapestries, and even baseball bats. They typically have a cap on the end of them so that it’s easy to remove the shipped item within, and they’re quite distinct from any other shipping package out there.

Custom Party Packaging

If you have a party and want to spice things up, you’re not alone.

Custom party boxes are a great way to have a blast, and set up a great theme. You can get these wholesale with a variety of different designs on them, and they are great for offering the best design that you can for a party. This as well can aid you with selection and customization of this too.

The Beauty of custom Packaging For this

When you get customized packaging for your items, this is a great way to serve the ideal purpose.

Customized packaging for parties can actually save you a ton of money, and the boxes themselves will be great based on the event requirements.

Before you go through and determine the best kinds of packaging, here are a few ideas of what you should use.

  • First, get the party boxes in cardboard, because they’re easy to get rid of once they’re done with usage.

  • When you look at these, also check out the options for printing, since you’ll want to avoid printing out odd shapes and whatnot

  • Because a lot of different parties will require you to have different themes, you’ll be able to play around with the shapes, and then make them fit the themes that you have.

  • You should get the interlocking tabs for these, especially if you’re going to use them for food. This gives them the best support.

  • If you’re going to get these boxes for party favors, in order to ensure that you have the best freshness, make them have food grade packaging in terms of material

Using These boxes

The great thing about party boxes is that they’re made for a variety of purposes, and there are different ways to; even use them in both personal, and professional spheres. This is the main goal of course.

There are a lot of fun ways to use them, and we’ll go over them here.

One way is party favours. After a party, people get little bags, and these of course, are the party favors.  You can make these customs and add your favorite little favours there.  The cool thing about these, is that they’re made with food grade materials. So, if you’re going to give them away for weddings for instance, you can use them with dry fruits and other items.

You can even select the colors and themes for them, and you’ll want to try this to get the best results that you can.

They’re also wonderful for gift wrapping.  If you want to give away small gifts to; another person, they can offer an appealing and great means to do that.

You can also shape them through different ways, but there are tons of boxes which are further utilized for these means. But if you want to have a party box and aren’t sure what to make this out of, this is a good way to do so.

Finally, consider these for leftovers. If you don’t feel like wanting to waste the food that you have, you can just throw these into your party boxes too.  The beauty of these is that since they are food grade, you can put foods in them, and then, you can throw them in the fridge.

Party boxes that are made for this are wonderful for storing food.

You can also use this for advertising and whatnot too. The different ways to; do this, and the array of fun items that you can try out, are certainly worth it, and you can, with these too, create the best food packaging and party packing needed!

When you Search for “Shipping Boxes”

What do you do when you need to find out about something?  Unless you are Amish, or part of an indigenous tribe, you more than likely turn to the internet.  If you are an American between the ages of 9 and 86 you probably turn to the internet immediately using your smart phone or tablet.  Outside of those parameters and you probably use your desktop at home, at work, or at the library.  Or, if you are Caribbean you will go to your local internet cafĂ©.  All jokes aside, these stereotypes are pretty accurate (because stereotypes tend to be, right?).

What do you do when you need to find the best deal on shipping boxes?  You open Google, or Bing, and you type in “best deal on shipping boxes”.  What happens next is both wonderful and terrifying.  As if reading your mind, the screen becomes filled with unlimited options.  At the top of the page you are going to see the pictures for some ads, advertising price and website.  Your internet search could possible stop here as your eye catches something that you want to check out further.  This time, though, that’s probably not going to be good enough, since you are trying to find the best deal.  To the right you can see a list of related searches that other people have made: best prices for moving boxes, best boxes for packing books, or cheap shipping boxes.  All the same, you are probably going to continue on your original path and begin to scroll the different options that are listed below all of this.

Unless there is a website that has already made price comparisons for what you are looking for, you are probably going to have to do it on your own.  So then you start probably start at the top.  You open the first website and either write down or make a mental note (not suggested) of what this place is charging for what amount of product.  And then you back out and go to the next website and do the same thing.  You should probably go through a couple pages of the search results before making a decision.  Usually the first sites listed are the ones who have a ton of money to spend on their marketing campaign.  You will probably even recognize who they are.  This is usually an indicator that their products will be priced higher because they are attached to the reputable name.  Keep looking!  Once you’ve made enough comparisons you can decide which way is the best to go.

Themed Shipping Boxes: D-M

So yeah, themed shipping boxes… It is just so stinking incredible, all of the options we have at our fingertips, specifically all of these packages whose purpose is to solely provide a bright spot in your month and give you a little pleasure.   Most of them are on a recurring monthly subscription, but some of them can be ordered at your whim, and just about all of them are awesome.  I would love to give each and every one of them a try, but of course that’s just not possible.  Here are some different themed “shipping boxes” that you might be interested in:

Date in a Crate:  I love that this subscription uses shipping boxes that look like wood crates (hence the clever pun in the name).  I also love that the concept is all about sharing a date with that special person in your lives.  A lot of people can’t afford a babysitter on top of going out and paying for a meal and a movie.  Even if you just want to go out and get a cup of coffee paying for a babysitter and finding someone you trust is always the biggest challenge. This box completely changes all of that, and it’s amazing.  Throw the kids downstairs with a movie, or in bed, and then dig into your Date in a Crate and enjoy!

Disney: Don’t even pretend like you don’t think Disney is amazing.  Literally everybody in the world loves Disney in one way or another.  Catering to this global obsession is a massive list of Disney subscription packages.  A good portion of them offer junk…excuse me, stuff… from the theme parks, but you could try out the Marvel themed box that sends super hero stuff every month, which is awesome, or the Princess Monthly Surprise, which obviously contains stuff themed around different princesses.

Japan Crate: speaking of shipping boxes that look like crates, Japan Crate does not actually look like a crate but that is still what it’s called.  Most people claim to be obsessed with Asian type stuff, and this box is for those people.  Japan Crate offers weird Japanese snacks and candies, and that’s a nice way of putting it.  I’m not gonna lie, I’m an adventurous person, and I would absolutely give these oddly shaped parcels a try.

Maker Monthly: Okay, so maybe this one might be my favorite.

I would straight up OCD all over the stuff they send in their boxes… sleek looking pens, crisp and unique notebooks, or even a nylon roll for keeping all yours pens and brushed and what not?  Yes please!
